This blend is just adorable. Starting with the looks that remind me of the forest floor. The cedar tips are incredibly cute. The linden has a calming effect and the anise is coming through strongly (which is just perfect). It's a wonderful tea in the evening or late afternoon.

I have to admit after the first steep I picked most of the anise out (it was just too sweet for me!) but then the other flavors came to the fore, and it tasted (and smelled) like a walk in the sun under our Washington cedars! I've been resteeping the same batch to make iced tea and the pitcher won't fill because I keep drinking it! If you like sweet teas give it a try--and if you don't, grab the big chunks of anise out, it only takes a minute! There are ingredients you wono't find in any other tea!

When I first got this I tried it because it sounded interesting, and I adore it. I can brew one scoop of tea for 4 pots and still get an absolutely delicious pot.

The overall ingredients certainly seemed like they'd be weird, but at first sip I was quite surprised at how much the flavors seem to meld almost perfectly together. This is a truly genius blend, mellow with no caffeine perfect for a night time wind down.
