This blend is inspired by the Locked Tomb Series by Tamsyn Muir. Check out the entire delicious collection here!
For those who follow their path zealously and with no care as to what others think, this weirdo blend is all you. A truly surprising and intensely layered tisane featuring the nigh-metallic spice of an assertive coriander presence, accented by the dizzying perfume of green cardamom pod, compounded by the burning of extra spicy Indonesian ginger in the throat and the sinus-opening brightness of lemon peel, all carrying the soul-siphoning cosmic herbaceousness of mugwort leaf. Sound intense? Baffling, even? Deal with it, cutie. That's how The Eighth rolls.
Ingredients: Coriander, cardamom, mugwort, spicy ginger, lemon peel
Steep at 195° F or 90.5°C for 3-5 min
0mg of caffeine per cup

Tea Marathon 2026 Tea 6/?
What a great tea for the dark season! The ginger is very bold, but the other spices keep it in line. The lemon peel really shines. This feels like the most sophisticated version of a tea you'd make when you catch a cold amd need to get better asap. For salvation, indeed!

I came for the cardamom and stayed for the complex taste layers. The ginger and the cardamom are so refreshing, the cardamom comes in first and the ginger leaves a nice spicy impression. The coriander is such a nice counterpart. I'm always happy to brew this blend (and I'm glad I can enjoy this caffeine free tisane whenever I feel like having a comforting hot drink).
Hi, I'm Teacup (aka Allyn, Friday's kid) and I really like For Salvation because it tastes like a creamy chai with a hint of that natural sweetness you get from a lemon and a good amount of spice from the ginger. It's a tea that I enjoy to drink when it's late but I want something cozy with a clean and clear flavor pallet.
