This tea is gorgeous in the cup, a dark golden red shimmering with gold sparkles. It's so sweet and smooth in the tongue. It burns the throat. Every cup in the ounce I bought was somehow a surprise. Every time I thought, "It *can't* be as spicy as I remember?" And every time it was shockingly hot. Luckily, this tea tastes just as good once it's cooled down to room temperature, which is usually how I drank most of every cup, after the first few sips. Desperately waiting for next September when I can torment myself with another ounce!
