Very tasty! It's great in the morning or afternoon. Light and refreshing even while served hot.

I love this tea, it’s warm, spiced, and equal parts mellow and zingy - very grounding! Highly recommend!

This blend has pretty much everything in it to make the most comforting, soul-warming brew one could imagine. I love malty/toasty flavors, I love barley and toasted rice, and I love goji-- I've never seen anyone actually put any two of those three in one blend, much less all three at once. The ginger and allspice are quite subtle and don't overpower the brew at all, yet you still can feel a bit of spice elevating everything, and the vanilla helps round out all the flavors in the end.

I will say though, to not forget the pot-- I used 2tsp, 250ml water at 180f and then accidentally let it brew to around 7 minutes out, which at that point the Houjicha base was starting to impart a tad too much smokiness. Also, I don't think it takes milk/cream well, at least for me the addition of it didn't really make anything better-- maybe other reviewers can comment on this. I also added a touch of honey, and a few extra dried goji berries from a Costco pound bag (because I'm that kind of indulgent) to nibble on as I drink. The whole thing is just delicious.

This is most DEFINITELY going to be a repeat buy! I’m already almost through with my first bag, I can’t stop drinking it.

Firstly, I LOVE barley tea! I grew up drinking this stuff like water because in my culture, this stuff is pretty much water. It’s also the one kind of tea that is most difficult to find blends for because not a lot of shops do a lot with barley. So I’m really really impressed with the way this was blended with the other ingredients and how it works together. The bright red of the goji berry also keeps the vibe of Kiki and somehow tastes like what I would imagine a hedge witch would make.

The barley is delicious. It’s a very soulful flavor, and I think anyone who is familiar with barley would know what I’m talking about. The goji berry adds in a sweet and almost medicinal taste to it. It’s a comforting flavor in my personal opinion and adds a touch of brightness. And to top it off with the allspice, you get that small kick that adds a warmth. Overall, this unique blend goes together very smoothly. Lovely, lovely flavor and heart eyes all around. Oh man!

I LOVE the toasty taste, and the barley and rice adds such a nice mouthfeel. I adore that it's practically a caffeine-free so I can drink it at any time of day.
