This farm-direct Japanese barley tea is a delicious noncaffeinated roasty treat! Try it hot for a cozy cup of comfort or iced for a crisp refreshment. Extremely popular in Japan and Korea both ways!
Ingredients: Roasted barley (gluten allergen)

Steep at 212° F or 100°C for 7-10 minutes

My partner and I have been a fan of mugicha for years and usually get it at the big local Japanese grocery store, both chilled in bottles and in bags to make hot at home. This mugicha is much more like the bottled kind, a pale gold with that gorgeous roasted grain flavor, but without the slight preservative aftertaste the bottled stuff has to add. Noticably different from the dark brew that comes from the bagged ground up stuff.
Definitely gonna be re-oreering this one. Honestly it's so tasty I'm tempted to just eat it without bothering with making it into tea!
