This is one of our Livestream Collab blends. Check out all of our CommuniTea Collabs here!

Everyone should have a goblin friend. Someone full of vim & vigor. Someone who shows their love with precious shiny rocks and sharp teeth. Our communitea goblin friend is a LARPer, geek, & ginger shenanigator named Katie!

We collaborated on this zingy, sweet brew with TTRPG streaming sweetheart Goblin Katie, and it was love at first sip! Katie's communitea spirit and big glowy smile come through in golden-tipped flowery tea and quenching aloe vera. Her zany nonsense playfulness is a spicy ginger treat nestled in a fragrant bed of sweet violets. The whole shebang is finished with a heavy handed dose of pink glitter, because no one brings the party up like a goblin friend!

Ingredients: Black tea, aloe vera, spicy ginger, sweet violet, pink lustre dust*

*Pink lustre dust contains: mica, titanium dioxide (E171), rice extract, red 3 (E127)

Approximately 65mg of caffeine per cup

Steep at 195° F or 90.5°C for 3-5 min

You can find, follow & support Katie all over cyberspace! Be sure especially to check Katie and friends on the D4 stream, a 5th Edition Canon Lore game, every Sunday at 7pm EST on Twitch!

Solid and just a smidge spicy

My bag has Darjeeling and Nepali teas called out, vs. the blanket of 'black teas'. So definitely pay attention to the cooler recommended brewing temperature! The teas blend into a solid 'dark' base, with a touch of earthiness drawn out by the ginger and the Darjeeling character blended into the floral violet and ginger spice rather than a distinct note. I could see this taking a bit of honey well. Not a strong enough black for milk to make sense. Though maybe milk and a drop of molasses would move this into autumn gingerbread territory? I'll have to try that later.

🤩

It's a well-bodied tea with a bit of floral floating underneath and a nice layer of warming ginger. Or warning ginger (you know how gingers are!). It's good with a lack of sweetener, but also mellows with a bit of honey, while sugar seems to make the ginger pop just a touch more. I'm really tempted to make a pitcher of iced tea with this blend.
