There's really nothing that compares to a good Sticky Rice Puer. The tea leaf is deeply oxidized, scented with a native Yunnan herb that smells uncannily like real sticky rice, and then cave-aged to perfection. A very large leaf and complex flavor combine beautifully to offer upward of twenty infusions per 5g cake!
Sold in packs of 1, 5, 10, or 20 cakes
Ingredients: Chinese cooked puer tea scented with sticky rice herb
Approximately 65mg of caffeine per cup
Steep at 212° F or 100°C for 1 minute.

This was one of the teas that really bowled me over in my most recent order. It genuinely does taste like it's got sticky rice starch in it, to the point it's almost creamy (but with plenty of body!). I'm always very dubious of claims to be able to resteep, in part because I like to brew larger amounts of tea at once, but I really can get 4-5 resteeps out of it before the flavor starts becoming too diluted to really be enjoyable. I'm really impressed by this tea, and have been telling all my friends about it! Friday Tea is one of the few places that I can get tea like this and I'm so appreciative because it really has heightened my enjoyment of this daily ritual so much. I will be back for more when this bag is out!!
This smells exactly like sticky rice, to the point that I don’t know why I was surprised by that, but I was! And when you steep it the smell gets even stronger. The taste does remind me of sticky rice in a way. You don’t need to steep this for long or add sugar to it in my opinion. It tastes good as a standalone no extra frills drink. And the color it turns after just a minute of brewing is really deep! Hope to order more sometime in the future.
OMG, I love this tea. I bought it out of curiosity a few weeks ago, and after I tried it, I instantly bought more. It's description does it justice: it DOES taste like sticky rice. I've had it twice since, and as long as Friday has it on rotation, I'll be getting more.
I was immediately struck with the smell of rice as soon as I began steeping this little cake. The taste was also so deliciously reminiscent of rice. I got many infusions out of this and each one was dark and flavorful. A wonderful way to start my morning. 🍚
I am obsessed with this tea. It's so cozy. So tasty. It's smooth and earthy with a touch of sweetness? I am terrible at describing this, but it's legit one of my favorite treats to enjoy on long cozy days at home. I've easily gotten 5 steeps out of a single cake, could probably get more if drank my tea faster!
