Ingredients: Black tea, yerba mate, linden, tomato flake

Approximately 80mg of caffeine per cup

Steep at 212° F or 100°C for 2-4 minutes

This tea is not for me and I did not enjoy it. I'm sure there's someone out there who would but I found it deeply strange, which I suppose is a worthwhile experience on it's own.
The flavor and aroma of this tea was like both a nice cup of black tea and tomato soup at the same time, as if I had stirred my tea with the same spoon I ate my soup.
This is the only tea blend from Friday Teas that I didn't finish because I actively disliked it.
I'm reminded of the dating app advice that it's better to be a three star average with all fives and ones than a three star average with all threes. This is a bold tea with a unique flavor. You will love it or hate it. Absolutely worth trying! I won't be having a second cup but I know it will be someone else's absolute favorite.

Surprising and fun!

Originally received as a sample and reordered because it was that good. The tomato adds a very subtle, earthy and sweet note. Like, if you think about it, you'll recognize it as tomato, but it doesn't overpower the blend. Nicely caffeinated and is good for those mornings when you need to *focus* and *complete objectives*. Good cold, better hot.
