Intense and yet somehow subtle

I actually liked it better on the second steep, because it was on the first steep. I'd say go a little shorter than you think you need to because if you go too long, it will get bitter. This isn't a tea for beginners, but it's really, really good.

An Easy Favorite

I picked up this tea purely for superficial reasons: the leaves were purple. Sometimes judging a book by its cover does pay off it turns out, and this incredibly smooth tea became a quick favorite. It has a deep flavor that I've never had in a black tea without the bitterness of tannins on the tail end, but this magical tea doesn't finish with that and instead gives you a wholly pleasant tea experience from start to finish. I've been checking the page religiously for weeks hoping it will come back in stock so I can get a larger stash and pick up some for friends!
